Anunciada is a divine entity and Blasphemous' 2 new messenger, who seeks to guide the Penitent One on his new journey.
Even though her origins are currently a mystery, it is likely that she comes from a place separated from the Eternal Processions, as she doesn't work for the Miracle. She warns the Penitent about the birth of the Miracle's new child, and requests us to destroy it by reaching the heart above the City of the Blessed Name. In order to do so we must obtain the Three Regrets and face the Archconfraternity, guardians of the heart, who are leaded my Eviterno.
She is first encountered on the Ravine of the High Stones, after defeating the Faceless One, Chisel of Oblivion.
She also appears on the following areas, after specific events:
- On Sacred Entombments, after defeating Great Preceptor Radamés.
- On Crown of Towers, after defeating Lesmes and the Sleeping Infanta.
- On Elevated Temples, if the player hasn't unlocked the Passage of Ash skill (double jump), received after defeating Afilaor, Sentinel of the Emery.
- On the Palace of Embroideries, after defeating Orospina, Lady Embroiderer.
- On Two Moons, after defeating Svsona, Fermosa Fembra, thus collecting all five doves.
- On Crimson Rains, after defeating Eviterno, First of the Penitents.
- (Mea Culpa DLC) On Icebound Mausoleum outside the ceramic door, if the Ceramic Key has not been obtained yet.
- (Mea Culpa DLC) On Icebound Mausoleum next to the mud woman's tomb, after the Penitent One has been killed and resurrected.
- (Mea Culpa DLC) On Santa Vigilia, as a dead body after Brother Asterión has been defeated and the cutscene has been played.

Look upon me thus as a preceptor in this enterprise, hailing from the highest of all seats. Penitent One, the Miracle shall give birth to a new child in a great heart descended from the clouds, that watches over the ancient City of the Blessed Name from on high. But on this ascending path of penitence the Archconfraternity awaits you. Those penitents that the Miracle itself took as its sentinels now await your arrival. Orospina, of the Confraternity of Embroiderers. Benedicta, of the Confraternity of Endless Orison. Odón, of the Confraternity of Salt. Lesmes, of the Confraternity of Incorruptible Flesh. All under the dictate of the oldest penitent, the First among them all, who was Eviterno, Father of the Penitents. Penitent One, the Miracle has instilled three regrets in the consciences of three of its guardians. Only by revealing them shall allow you achieve the humiliation of the sculpted figures that hold up the city, allowing you to ascend to its upper reaches and, finally, to the great heart. The figure of the Mother has descended, full of mercy. Anon, the upper part of the city, separated from the rest by the Miracle's design, will join the rest. Find the last guardian. |
