The Archcathedral Rooftops provide a stunning view to the intricate architecture of the cathedral below and beyond. The towers rise up into the heavens, with His Holiness Escribar hiding in the tallest tower watching The Miracle wreak havoc on the world below.
This area can be accessed through the Mother of Mothers and leads to the Wall of the Holy Prohibitions on one side and the Deambulatory of His Holiness on the other, high above the rest of Cvstodia. There are many lifts and levers in this area, typically with spikes below them. There is one large lift in the middle tower with a statue of three faces on it. To gain full control of of this lift so that the entire area can be explored, the Mirrored Mask of Dolphos, Embossed Mask of Crescente, and Deformed Mask of Orestes must be brought to this statue.
The three Marks of Refuge required for the Quest: Rebirth can be found here and are obtained by defeating the three Soldiers of the Anointed Legion in this area. Cleofas can be found here, to the left of the Prie Dieu altar closest to Patio of the Silent Steps, as part of the Rebirth quest.
There is a Chapel of Travel to the left of the Prie Dieu altar just before the boss fight and a Mea Culpa Altar opposite to it, all the way on the right side of the area. There is also an instance of the Lady of the Six Sorrows on the furthest right side of the area.
The boss for this area is Crisanta of the Wrapped Agony, who serves as a guard for Escribar and regards The Penitent One's quest as the highest form of heresy.
