The Blessed lord of Salty Shores is a mysterious figure found in the Lake of Silent Pilgrims, an area accessible through the fountain in Albero after obtaining at least one item that can be blessed.
The Blessed lord of Salty Shores claims to have been worshiped as a saint by the surrounding people entombed in salt. However, his feats were false, and he used salt to hand out blessings that lacked any real meaning. The Miracle sentenced him and those who worshipped him to be trapped as statues of salt in this dream realm. The only way for him to escape this fate is to bless items and turn them into relics.

In Christianity, salt is considered to be blessed and is often used in baptisms, blessings, exorcisms and the creation of Holy water.
The design for this character and the area he is in is based on the Biblical story of Lot. At one point, as the angels were sent to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot and his family were commanded to not look behind them. Lot's wife looked behind her and turned into a pillar of salt.
The area also bears a resemblance to Cocytus, the lowest circle of Inferno in Dante's Divine Comedy, with sinners trapped in ice and stuck in place.
