The Captive in the Canvas is an enemy who blends into the background by appearing to be a portrait. It can be found in The Sleeping Canvases.
Behaviour and Tactics
- Slash: The Captive in the Canvas will emerge from the painting with a sword and a head, slashing the Penitent One, dealing moderate damage.
The Captive in the Canvas will wait in the background until the Penitent One gets close enough. It will then start moving around horizontally across the room, back and fourth.
The Captive in the Canvas is relatively easy to spot in the background, and has quite low health. This allows the Penitent One to finish the enemy off before they even manage to attack. Its attack can also be parried or dodged under.
Execution
The Penitent One grabs the Captive in the Canvas's hair, ripping them out of the painting and then slamming them onto the floor.
