Despite his big size, the Esquilón as low HP, taking just a few hits to be killed. When charging, he can be vaulted over. However, when this is done, he will stop in his tracks and try to turn. Being a slow turner, this is the opporunity to defeat the creature. Another options is to make him charge into a wall, where he will be stunned for a short time.

Be careful of the Esquilòn when they are grappled to a wall with the sword: if the Esquilòn hits a wall while charging, and the Penitent One is grappled on that wall (even if he's safe from a direct hit), the vibrations of the blow will cause the sword to dislodge from the wall, and the Penitent One will fall down.{{Gallery
