The Crown of Towers is an early game area in Blasphemous 2 that can be first accessed from the Choir of Thorns. It notably contains the weapon Ruego Al Alba (if not originally chosen, in which case The Punished One can be found) as well as the boss Lesmes, Incorrupt Sacristan who guards one of the Three Regrets required for The Penitent One to progress in the game. It later acts as an entrance to the Basilica of Absent Faces. From there, a subsection of the Crown of Towers can be accessed, in which the Mercy of the Wind ability can be found.
The area is set in a series of towers built around a spectral basilica. Sets of rotating blue flames are lined throughout the towers, acting as a dangerous environmental threat to The Penitent One. Platforms that can only be broken using the Weight of Sin ability of Ruego Al Alba can be found throughout the area, making the weapon a necessity to progress through the Crown of Towers. Medardo & Escolástico have two locations in this area, once in its lower section and later outside the entrance to the Basilica of Absent Faces. Anunciada will appear after Lesmes is killed, informing The Penitent One of the remaining regrets (or where he is to go after collecting all three).
The area contains two Holy Brothers of the Golden Visage, one daughter of Bernarda Alba, and one boss.
