Fervour

Fervor is the In Game energy the player uses to cast Prayers, each prayer and the range attack will drain a portion of your Fervor meter when used. To refill his Fervor, the player needs to strike successful melee attacks on enemies, reach a Guilt Fragment or using the Self-Injuring technic.

The Penitent One can increase his maximum Fervour by anointing himself with the Oil of the Pilgrims.
