The Library of the Negated Words's books are never meant to be read. But those who choose to read these forbidden books have denied the ways of the Miracle. The Carthos, with their blasphemous thoughts, guard the Library from all who dare to enter. They wear a green mask and hold a book, with several other books tied to their body.
Behaviour and Tactics[]
- Boomerang Book: The Carthos will throw a book at the Penitent one, which then acts like a boomerang, returning back to it.
When the Carthos throws the book, jump in then out of the empty space between the book and the Carthos or block the book. It is even possible to crouch under the thrown book. Another effective method is to use the ranged attack, as the ranged attack will cause the book to stop and return back to the Carthos without reaching the Penitent One.
