Odón is a boss from Blasphemous 2 located in the Sunken Cathedral, and one of the penitents from the Archconfraternity under the service of the Miracle. He belongs to the Confraternity of Salt, and gives the Key of Salt upon defeat that opens one of the cages from the Chapel of the Five Doves.
Behaviour and Tactics[]
- Halberd Thrust - The simplest attack of Odón and the only one that can be parried, this move is identifiable when Odón reaches his hand out towards where he wants to hit, followed by quick thrust.
- Wave Counterattack - When the Penitent One is behind Odón, Odón will turn around and slash, causing a wave to be summoned towards the Penitent One.
- Typhoon Thrust - Odón will jump into the air after a short start up. Small but visible waves will appear around the Penitent One as an indicator of this attack. Odón will land a short while later causing a typhoon to appear above him as well one wave on either side of him.
- Drowned Lancer Summon - Odón will thrust his halberd into the air, causing a continuous lightning bolt to come out of it. Drowned Lancers will then be summoned on the Penitent One, signified by a lingering bolt above him, before striking and then summoning a lancer. On phase 2, three lancers will be summoned and on phase 3, four will be summoned.
- Upward Stamp - Odón will take a large stomp towards the Penitent One, two hand his halberd, and then slice upwards into the air with great speed. Upon phase change, two waves from both sides of Odón will spawn.
- Spears of Salt - Similar to the lancer summon, Odón will thrust his halberd into the air, and will summon waves of lancers from below the ground on both sides of Odón that thrust long spears upwards that must be jumped over. On phase 2, two waves will spawn in one attack and in phase 3, three. When Odón charges this attack, it has a noticeably longer charge up compared to the summon and banner attacks.
- Banner of the Tide - Odón will once again thrust his halberd into the air, summoning a war banner made of water that protects any summoned lancers from all damage, making only Odón vulnerable to attacks. After a certain amount of damage, Odón will automatically lower the banner, but will also lower it after an amount of time.

- Odón is a municipality in Teruel province, Aragon, Spain. In A Dictionary of Spanish Place Names (p. 185), Luis de Orueta was unsure if Odón meant "the high one" (from Latin altus "high" and Celtic locative suffix -on) or "Otto's place", Otto being from Proto-Germanic *audaz "wealth, riches".
- The soldiers summoned by Odón during his Spears of Salt attack have their heads attached, unlike their above ground variants.
